Limnn (Private) Limited sells globally, so card payments are handled by a Merchant of Record (MoR). A MoR is the legal seller of record for the transaction and handles international payment processing, sales tax and VAT collection and remittance, and customer receipts.
Card payments
- Payments run through a Merchant of Record provider (Creem).
- The checkout is hosted by the provider; Limnn never sees or stores your full card number.
- The provider issues the receipt and the applicable tax line; Limnn issues the matching workspace invoice record.
- On success, seats or credits are applied to the workspace automatically through a signed webhook and recorded in the ledger.
Bank deposit
For customers who cannot pay by card, in regions where card payments are less common, the billing gateway supports bank deposit. It is provider-agnostic, so the same wallet and ledger apply.
- 1Open /settings/billing and choose Top up, then Bank deposit.
- 2Enter the amount. Limnn shows the bank details and a unique payment reference.
- 3Make the transfer and quote the reference exactly.
- 4Upload the deposit slip or confirmation if prompted.
- 5After Limnn verifies the deposit, credits or seats are applied and the ledger shows the entry.
Troubleshooting
- Paid but no credits - check /settings/credits ledger; webhook delivery can lag by a few minutes.
- Wrong billing name or tax ID - update in /settings/billing; it applies to future invoices, not past ones.
- Refund requests - contact support with the receipt number; refunds are issued through the original payment method.
