Nearly all mail problems come down to DNS, sandbox limits or authentication alignment. Work through the checks below in order.
Domain will not verify
- 1Open /mail/admin and refresh the domain status to get the latest result.
- 2Compare each DNS record character for character with what Limnn shows.
- 3Check that your DNS host did not append the domain twice, for example _domainkey.yourcompany.com.yourcompany.com.
- 4Remove stray duplicate records and wait for propagation, then refresh again.
Mail sends but lands in spam
- Confirm DKIM and custom MAIL FROM are both verified, so SPF and DKIM align with your From domain.
- Publish a DMARC record and read its reports.
- Avoid sending large bursts from a brand-new domain; ramp up gradually.
- Remove bounced and complaining addresses promptly.
Mail only reaches some recipients
If messages reach internal or test addresses but not external recipients, the sending account may be in a restricted (sandbox) state or the recipient may be on your suppression list. Check the suppression list first, then contact Limnn support with an example address.
Inbound mail never arrives
- Verify the MX record for the receiving domain points to the inbound SMTP endpoint for your region.
- Make sure no other MX record has a lower priority number and wins.
- Check that the destination mailbox exists before testing.
- If the MX record is correct and mail still does not arrive, contact Limnn support with the sender, recipient and time of a test message.
