People join a workspace through invites issued from /settings/users. Each invite is bound to a secure one-time token and a specific email address, so only the intended recipient can accept it. All invite types use the same token path and are delivered by Limnn's transactional email.
Sending an invite
- 1Go to /settings/users and choose Invite user.
- 2Enter the person's work email address.
- 3Pick a system role (Admin, Manager or User; Super Admin is reserved for the owner and other trusted administrators) and any additional custom roles from /settings/roles.
- 4Optionally assign a team so dashboards, routing and manager scoping work from the first login.
- 5Send. The recipient gets an email with a link to set a password and join.
Managing pending invites
- Resend - issues a fresh email on the same token, useful when the first message was filtered.
- Revoke - invalidates the link immediately, even if the email is already in the recipient's inbox.
- Change role - edit the user after acceptance; role changes apply on their next request, not at next login.
- Deactivate - removes access but preserves history; frees a seat for billing purposes.
Bulk onboarding
For larger teams, use /settings/import to load people from CSV, then invite in batches. Create teams first at /settings/teams so imported users can be placed correctly. Sync HR data through People so the org chart and reporting lines drive Manager-level visibility automatically.
