The Cortex Agent Hub

Run every Cortex agent from one place: outcomes, the approval inbox, needs attention, the context centre and templates.

The Agent Hub at /cortex is where you install, build, supervise and measure Cortex agents. It replaced the earlier Agent Swarms console: playbooks now live under Agents, knowledge under Context, approvals and activity in the Inbox, and escalations in Needs attention.

The tabs

  • Overview: what your agents did over the last 30 days, grouped by business outcome, with runs, resolutions and estimated time saved.
  • Inbox (/cortex/inbox): every action an agent has proposed and is waiting on a person. Open a run to see its input, steps, tools, credits and result, then approve, edit or reject each action, or bulk-approve.
  • Needs attention (/cortex/attention): approvals, hand-offs to humans, failed runs, low-confidence answers and agents that still need setup, in one list.
  • Agents (/cortex/agents): every agent grouped by outcome, with live run metrics and an on/off switch. Build your own describes the job in plain language; Cortex drafts the playbook only when you submit.
  • Context (/cortex/context): your business profile (what you sell, ideal customer, tone, products and pricing, refund and SLA policies, escalation rules and things agents must never do) plus knowledge sources. A coverage ring shows how complete it is and what to add next.
  • Templates (/cortex/templates): installable agents, one per job.

Business outcomes

  • Win deals (Sales): for example Re-engage stalled deals.
  • Delight customers (Support & CS): for example the Customer agent, Duplicate-charge resolver, Login & SSO helper and Privacy request router.
  • Get paid (Billing): the Revenue agent finds overdue invoices and drafts polite follow-ups for a person to approve.
  • Grow demand (Marketing): Inbound lead follow-up.
  • Run the business (Data & Ops): the Data-quality agent finds likely duplicates and records missing key fields, and proposes merges and field fixes.

Install your first agent

  1. 1Fill in Context first. Agents append it to every prompt, so better context means better answers.
  2. 2Open Templates and install the agent that matches the job. It is created switched off.
  3. 3Open it under Agents, review the playbook steps, tools, autonomy and spend cap, then switch it on.
  4. 4Work the Inbox daily for the first weeks. Approve clean proposals, edit or reject the rest with feedback.
  5. 5Check Needs attention for hand-offs and failures, and fix the playbook or context rather than the individual run.
Templates only use tools from the existing agent tool registry, so installing one never grants a new capability. Billing templates require billing view permission, and RISK actions such as merges or invoice follow-ups always wait for a person.
