SECURITY & LEGAL
Proof that holds up.
Every envelope records signer consent to do business electronically, the signer's intent, and each step of the process — the elements the US ESIGN Act and UETA rely on, and a simple electronic signature (SES) under the EU's eIDAS regulation.
Some document types can't be signed electronically in every jurisdiction. Limnn isn't a law firm — check with your counsel for regulated documents.
Document fingerprint
A SHA-256 hash of the document is taken when it's sent, so any later change is detectable.
Hash-chained audit log
Each event is chained to the one before it; editing or deleting one breaks the chain.
Signer verification
Unique signing links, with an optional one-time email code before the signer can open the document.
Completion certificate
Names, emails, timestamps, IP and device for each signer, attached to the signed PDF.
